Explanation:

Given function f(x)= log2(x-6)

As logarithmic function is not defined for negative values.

Therefore, 2(x-6)>0

⇒x-6>0

⇒x>6

Clearly Domain of f(x)=x>6, x is any real number

Range of the function is the set of all possible values of f(x) which we got after substituting domain values to the function.
