T= total cost of newspaper ad
n= number of square inches

T= $50 + ($2.25)(number of sqr inches)

T= $50 + $2.25n

Example: if we purchased 6 square inches of an ad. T= 50 + 2.25(6);
Total cost= $63.50.

ANSWER: T= $50 + $2.25n or
T= $2.25n + 50

Hope this helps! :)
