x(x-y)^3 +3x^2y(x-y) ←Take out common factor x(x-y)


= x(x-y) [(x-y)^2 + 3xy] ← Apply (a-b)² = a² + 2ab + b²


= x(x-y) [x^2 -2xy + y^2 + 3xy] ← Combine like terms


= x(x-y)(x^2 - xy + y^2)
