The majority people in society is Conformist. This theory by Robert Merton indicates that society subjects individuals to pressure to achieve socially accepted goals, for example buying a house, even if the person does not have the means to do so, this leads people to commit crimes to achieve the goals. Conformism is one of the attitudes that people adopt when they can not achieve the desired objectives.
