Solution:

we are given that

Richard is performing an experiment where he flips a coin to determine the probability of getting a heads.

After 1,200 trials, a heads has come up 648 times.

we have been asked to find

Based on his results, what is the experimental probability of getting a heads?

As we know that the experimental probability is defined as the ratio of favorable outcomes to total number of trials.

Here total number of trials=1200

Favorable outcomes=heads= 648

Expeimental probability
=(648)/(1200)= 0.54

Hence the experimental probability is 0.54
