The derivatives of the expression will be:
a] y=2/√x
The expression can be written as:
y=2x^-0.5
dy/dx=2(-0.5)x^(-0.5-1)
dy/dx=-x^-1.5

Answer: dy/dx=-x^-1.5

b] y=9x^3-1/x^5+5x^2-1
the expression can be written as:
y=9x^3-x^-5+5x^2-1
thus
dy/dx=27x²+5x^-6+10x

Answer:

dy/dx=27x²+5/x^6+10x
