A plant is able to survive in a temperate forest biome, but cannot survive in a desert biome. which is most likely a characteristic of this plant?

The plant would be a plant that will need water for example a cactus doesnt need waterbso it survives in the desert but the plant has to need a lot of water

Answer:

Temperate forest biome have a different variety of plant species for example Lichen, Moss , ferns etc. A place that have regular season cold and warm weather is known as Temperate climate (where temperature is moderate to mild) and the forest grow there is known as Temperate forest.

Desert biome is very different from temperate forest biome, in desert biome plants survive and grow in harsh condition for example Cactus , long roots of cactus helping them to collect the water and store in its body for future. The spines on the cactus protecting them from animals and human.
