The belief system of the American Dream has been condemned for a several reasons. The confidence in the American Dream strengthens social division with the presumption that everybody has the opportunity to succeed and it is equal. It is a greater amount of a belief system than a reality. This "American Dream" has ingrained in the normal American that well off individuals earned their status and destitute individuals merit their status, they deserve it.
