I believe that having a standard taxonomic system benefits the scientific community by allowing scientists from all over the world to have a common understanding in the classification of organisms. Taxonomy is the practice and science of classification of organisms into groups called taxas. The system provides correct phylogeny and identification of organisms to the scientific community.
