All of the following points lie on the graph of y = 5x except _____.

(0,1)
(1,5)
(2,10)
(3,125)

all of em exept (0,1)

just plug the first number onto the equation.

if it gives you the second number, the points lie on the graph.

example : 5(1) = 5
: 5(2) = 10
: 5(3) = 125

these 3 all gave the second number on the point (x,y)
while 5(0) = 0 didn't.

Plug them into the given equation and solve

y = 5x
(0, 1)
1 = 5(0)
1 ≠ 0

y = 5x
(1, 5)
5 = 5(1)
5 = 5

y = 5x
(2, 10)
10 = 5(2)
10 = 10

y = 5x
(3, 125)
125 = 5(3)
125 ≠ 15

The points that do not lie on the graph are the ones that don't equal.
That is point (0, 1) and point (3, 125).
