from what I've gathered the tank is filled 1/3 of the way and each Meter is equal to 1000. and if the tank is 2m long and 5m wide then all you really need to do is multiply 5 by 2 to get 10 and add the 0's to get (10000)

Answer:

For figure 1:
V = 12000000l^(3)

For figure 2:
V = 2000000 cm^(3)

For figure 3:
h = 2.5 cm

Explanation:

For figure 1:

Since, we know the volume of a cuboid 'V' is the product of its length 'l', its breadth 'b' and its height 'h' i.e.

V = l.b.h

But, in our case, length is 5 m = 5000
l (since, 1 m = 1000
l), breadth is 2 m = 2000
l, and height is 1.2 m = 1200
l^(3), then its volume will be:

V = 5000.2000.1200

V = 12000000l^(3)

For figure 2:

For this question, we can find the volume of the shape, by dividing this figure in to two parts, the upper cuboid part, and the lower two sided triangular part. So the total volume 'V' will be:

V = ((2m).(1m). (0.6m)) + ((1)/(2) (1.4m-0.6m)(2m)).1m

V = 1.2m^(3) + 0.8m^(3)

V = 2m^(3)

In
cm^(3),

V = 2.(100).(100).(100)

V = 2000000 cm^(3)

For figure 3:

Since, volume of this prism should be:

V = (1)/(2) 4.h.7

But, V = 35
cm^(3)

35 = (1)/(2) .28h

h = (70)/(28) cm

h = 2.5 cm
