Muscle extensors are muscles that usually increase the angle between members of a limb. Also, it is joint movement that increases the angle between two bones.

The four extensor muscles of the lower forelimb were:

Extensor carpi radialis

Extensor digitorum communis

Extensor digitorum lateralis

Extensor carpi ulnaris.

However, these muscle assist in the flexing of the elbow.
