The molecules are ATP and NADPH. During the light reactions of Photosynthesis. Light is absorbed and the energy is used to drive electrons from water to generate NADPH and to drive protons across a membrane. These protons return through ATP synthase to make ATP.
Dark reactions makes use of these organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH) such that ATP provides the energy while NADPH provides the electrons to fix the carbon dioxide into carbohydrates.

During the dark stage of photosynthesis ATP and NADPH molecules produced during the light stage is used in the dark stage to fix carbon dioxide(CO2). The dark stage reaction produces sugar molecules and other organic molecules necessary for cell function and metabolism
