Batrachotoxin is the toxic chemical present in the skin of dart-poison frogs which are found in Central and South America. Batrachotoxin is one of the most toxic steroid alkaloid poisons known. It is deadly poisonous that causes neuromuscular toxicity in the form of flaccid paralysis and seizures.
