A milk carton is 30cm long, 10cm wide and 50cm high. How much milk can it hold?

30 times 10 is 300. 300 times 50 is 15,000.

We can assume here that the milk carton is of the shape of cuboid.

The volume of cuboid can be found using the formula :


V= l*b*h

Where,

l=length =30 cm,

b=breadth =10 cm ,

h=height = 50 cm.

So plugging these values in the given formula :


V= 30*10*50

So volume = 15000 cubic cm.

Answer : The milk carton can hold 15000 cubic cm of milk.
