HELP PLEASERead the following excerpt from The Diary of Anne Frank:

Dussel (pleading, insistent). But this is the third time, Mr. Frank! The third time in quick succession! It’s a signal! I tell you it’s Miep, trying to get us! For some reason she can’t come to us and she’s trying to warn us of something!
What is the meaning of the word "succession" in this passage?

The definition of succession is the coming of one person or thing after another in order, sequence, or in the course of events, so the meaning of succession in the passage is back-to-back

hope I helped :)

Answer:

I beleive the answer is Back-to-back because the meaning of "succession" is "a series of people or things that come one after the other"
