How does Jekyll exhibit the classic signs of addiction (physical and emotional dependency on a substance)? How do you think people in your town would treat Jekyll if he was their neighbor and they knew about his addiction?

He has random mood swings, and he "Turns into his darker alter ego".  I think they would be wary of him,but they would do everything in their power to help him.

He has a strange face as he turns into an evil person. I think people in my town would be very concern about him and they would try to help him.
