The correct answer is B) 1/2 mL.

Adding the amounts that are currently in each beaker, we have:
1/8 + 1/4 + 3(3/8) + 2(3/4) + 1
= 1/8 + 1/4 + 9/8 + 6/4 + 1

Converting all of these to fractions with common denominators, we have:
1/8 + 2/8 + 9/8 + 12/8 + 8/8 = 32/8 = 4 mL of liquid total.

We have 8 beakers to split up 4 mL of liquid; 4/8 = 1/2.
