For this case what you should do is use the following trigonometric relationship:

cos (x) = (C.A)/(h)
Where
x: angle
C.O: adjoining cathetus
h: hypotenuse
Substituting the values we have:

cos (x) = (AD)/(AC)

cos (30) = (6)/(AC)

AC = (6)/(cos30)

AC = 6.93

AC = 6.93
