Describe a Neolithic village settlement. Can anyone help?

The Neolithic period spans from 4000-2000 BC and it is a significant time when agriculture and farming began. The first permanent villages were based around farms but they were fairly small as the land can only support a number of people. Labor was divided into hunting and gathering and they take what the land can offer in order to survive.
