Germany was extremely aggressive once Hitler took over. Once Hitler gained power, he spread his reign far and wide.
In just a couple years Germany took over most of Europe. This include countries such as Poland, France,Romania, and Denmark. By the middle of World War II, German had doubled it's size and influence compared to post World War I levels. There were very few places as of 1942 were Germany did not have influence.
