The roosevelt cororary was a logical conclusion to the monroe doctrine that called for the USA to refrain from interfering and angaging in wars with foreign countries. Roosevelt Cororarycalled for USA involvement in a country that threatened its intrests, and especially the Latin America spheres, where USA was called to use its international policing power. The doctrine was not well received by the Mexican ambassandor with its ultimate end being effected by Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930's.
