y = -1x + 2

First, you subtract x from both sides.

y = 2 - x

then you rearrange the equation by making the x a negative.

so y = -x + 2, or y = -1x +2

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b


x + y = 2
-x -x

y = -x + 2
