Global Climate: is the average climate over the entire planet. The reason, scientists, and folks like you are concerned is that Earth's Global Climate is changing. The planet is warming up fast, faster than at anytime scientists knows about from their studies of Earth's entire history.
"Climate change" refers to any long-term change in Earth's climate, or in the climate of a region or city. This includes warming, cooling and changes besides temperature.
Patterns of Climate Change : is recurring characteristics of the climate.
Climate Patterns can last tens of thousands of years, like the glacial, and interglacial periods within ice ages, or repeat each year, like monsoons.
