Explain why the body of a person infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, would have a different immune response to the presence of cancer cells than a person not infected with HIV.

The immune system has many kinds of white blood cells to fight infections. HIV finds the white blood cells, called CD4 cells. But with cancer the white blood cells are being killed off.
