Read the following passage from Whitman's "Song of the Open Road" and answer the question.

Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good fortune,

Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing,

Which sentence best paraphrases the passage above?
a) From now on, I will ask permission of the god of luck because I'm going to need a lot. b) There is nothing to complain about though and I'm ready to go.
c) As of now, I'm unlucky, but I'm going in search of luck. And when I find it, I'll stop complaining and get on living.
d) As of now, I will stop asking permission from the god of luck and make my own. This is going to be hard work so I better wait till I'm ready.
From now on, I won't ask for luck, because I will make my own. There is nothing to complain about and no reason to wait.
