Mainly due to her/his potential impartial and unbiased perspective, less prone to show prejudice on the issue while being new to the craft, which offers the advantage of natural curiosity and sticking to the facts instead of attempting to rig the outcome of the story thanks to his/her ignorance of the patterns of narration; thereby contrasting her/his naive views with the tough realities of war.
