If each serving of beets = 8 oz, then 1 can of 40 oz beets can provide 5 servings (because 40 = 8 * 5)

If there are 320 servings, then 320/5 = 64 cans of beets are required to feed all of the guests

One way to answer this would to find out how many servings one can of beets has. One can has 40 ounces of beers, and 1 serving is 8 ounces, so 40/8= 5 servings per can.

You will then take the 320 total servings and break this into groups of 5 (which would be the servings per can).

320/5 = 64 cans would be needed to serve 320 guests.
