Humanistic psychologists view personality by focusing on free will and subjective experiences as an innate motive toward self-actualization. Abraham Maslow was a famous humanistic psychologist who perceived that all of psyche was geared to move up the hierarchy of human needs, the pinnacle of this hierarchy is self-actualization or realizing one's full potential.
