Balanced chemical reaction: C₃H₈(g) + 5O₂(g) → 3CO₂(g) + 4H₂O(g).
There are same number of atoms of on both side of balanced chemical reaction: ten oxygen atoms, three carbon atoms and eight hydrogen atoms.
Carbon is oxidized and oxygen is reduced in this balanced chemical reaction of combustion of propane.
