Risk factors include the following:

Medications- some medications alter the chance of women to ovulate. This can also alter the hormonal processes in a woman's body

Age- women of older age has less chance of conceiving. The egg's quantity and quality declines as the woman age

Weight- being overweight may affect hormone production and prevent ovulation

Alcohol- having more than one alcoholic drink per day increases the chande of ovulation disorder

Tobacco- Smoking can damage the quality of egg cell and can lead to infertility. This can also lead to problems during pregnancy.
