1a) It is an arithmetic sequence with a first term of 5 and a common difference of (9-5) = (13-9) = 4.

1b) a[1] = 5; a[n+1] = a[n]+4

1c) a[n] = 1+4n

1d) Yes. (2013 -1) = 2012 is divisible by 4.

1e) (533 -1)/4 = 133 . . . terms
