The usual way of finding inverse functions works. Swap x and "y" and solve for y.
.. x = 2/(y +4)
.. y +4 = 2/x . . . . . . multiply by (y+4)/x
.. y = (2/x) -4 . . . . . subtract 4
f⁻¹(x) = (2/x) -4
