There are 5 red marbles, 8 blue marbles, and 12 green marbles in a bag. What is the theoretical probability of randomly drawing a red marble?

So first we add up all the marbles. Which would be 25. Then we look to see how many red marbles there are. There are 5. You have a 5/25 chance of drawing a red marble. But you can reduce that. So when it's all said and done you have 1/5 chance of drawing a red marble.
Hope this helps!
