Why did the War Hawks push for the invasion of British-held Canada?

The British had a policy of making allies with the First Nations. The war Hawks wanted to invade Canada to deprive Indians of their main source of arms and ultimately be the end to the British in the New World.

The War Hawks also insisted that by doing so, it would also get the British to leave North America.
