Lipids are commonly known as fats found in the human body. It has three (3) categories, and they are mainly known as triglycerides, steroids, and phospholipids. Estrogen is one of the popular lipids traced in the body. This kind of lipid falls under the category of steroids for it is a hormone responsible for the development and regulation of the reproductive system of females.
