Perimeter is 68 meters
2(x + y) = 68
x + y = 34
x = 34 - y ------------------ (1)

Area = 280
xy = 280 ------------------- (2)

Sub (1) into (2):

(34 - y)y = 280
34y - y² = 280
y² - 34y + 280 = 0
(x - 14)(x - 20) = 0
x = 14 or x = 20

The dimension of this rectangle is 14 meters by 20 meters
