System of equations solve y=2x+1 and 2x-y=3

For this case we have the following system of equations:

y = 2x + 1\\2x-y = 3

We cleared "y" of the second equation:

y = 2x-3

Now we equate the equations:

2x+1=2x-3\\1 = -3

Since 1 is not equal to -3 then the system has no solution.

This can also be observed, knowing that the lines are parallel since they have the same slope,
m = 2.

Answer:

The system has no solution.
