y = children
53(x+y=431)
53x +24y = 15390$
53x+53y = 22,843
subtract from
53x+24y = 15,390
29y = 7,453$
y = 257
53x + 24 (257) = 15,390
53x + 6,168 = 15,390
53x = 9,222
x = 174
