"Broken Chains" and "Fish Cheek"
Broken Chain is a story where the protagonist, Alfonso, finds himself wanting to change the way his teeth are to look better, while in Fish Cheeks, Amy Tan, wants to change her physical appearance to impress the ministers son. What both stories share between them is that appearance isn't everything when it comes to impressing someone or earning things in life.
