Hi there!
To solve for x, we need to simplify this by combining like terms.
4x + 6 + 3 = 17
4x + 9 = 17
4x = 8
x = 2

X=2 my dude
4x+6+3=17
Do 3-17 so it would be
4x+6= 14
Then do 6-14= 8 so
4x=8 all over 4
X=2
