What is a example of a composite figure in your home or community? How would you decompose it to find the area? Can you think of another reason that it would be helpful to decompose these figures in addition to making it easier to find the area? EXPLAIN.

Answer: An L-shaped room in your house

Imagine any room in your house that is not just a single rectangle, square or other shape. This would be an example of a composite shape. It simply means that it is made up of more than one shape.

For example, if you had a living room in the shape of an L. This would be a composite shape because you would have to put 2 rectangles together to make the shape.
