Plessy v. Ferguson was the landmark Supreme Court Decision curiously coincides with Washington's Speech to the Atlanta Exposition. This is a doctrine for assessing racial segregation laws. It is also called as "separate but equal". It gives rights to public facilities as long as the segregated facilities were equal in quality.
