Chemolithotrophs use inorganic electron donors released from deep=sea hydrothermal vents. Chemolithotroph are certain groups of prokaryotes which are obtained their energy from oxidation of reduced inorganic compounds such as sulfide, ammonia and hydrogen and also uses carbon dioxide as carbon source.They obtain their energy and carbon from organic compounds.
