Why did most of the revolutions of 1848 fail to achieve their goals?

The revolutions of 1848 failed to achieve their goals because of a lack of strong allies that can help and support them to get the result they wanted. They lack the military support that made them weak during wars against their enemies. And lastly, they lack the division among revolutionaries because they lack those people who wanted and is willing to fight for freedom.
