Bulk transport. Bulk transport uses vesicles to transport  large macromolecules across the plasma membrane. These bulk transport includes exocytosis and endocytosis. Exocytosis is a type of bulk transport where molecules move out of a cell via secretory vesicles while endocytosis is the vicevarsa of exocytosis. Other types includes phagoctosis and pinocytosis.
