Germany would be divided into 4 sections and occupied.

Yalta Conference began to set the peace process as World War II was ending. The Big 3 (Churchill, Stalin, and FD Roosevelt) agreed Germany needed to surrender unconditionally and would be divided into 4 areas each controlled by an Allied Power: France, Great Britain, USSR, and USA.
