What laws did Sir Isaac Newton put forth?

Teachers and textbooks often obscure the very fundamental difference between Newton's three laws and his law of gravitation. There is implicit recognition of this difference in the fact that we do not refer to the gravitational law as Newton's fourth law. This is an important semantic recognition of the difference.
