we know that
[perimeter]=(2x+2y)
Po=(2x+2y)

If the dimensions of a parallelogram are increased by a factor of two
then
x1=2x
y1=2y
P1=2x1+2y1----------> 2*[2x]+2*[2y]--------> P1=2*[2x+2y]
P1=2*Po
