How do you compare y intercepts and rates of change

the y-intercept can't be compared to the unit rat because they are different, very different. the Y-intercept gets added to the product that is produced by the unit rate.

The rate of change is represented by the slope of a line and the y-intercept is the value of y at the point where the line crosses the y-axis. Hope this helps!
